The DIRECTV W Connection FC technical staff announced the 18 member squad for Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Championship matches against the Guyana Defence Force, Waterhouse FC of Jamaica and SAP FC of  Antigua between April 15-19 at the Ato Bolton Stadium, Couva.

The ambition of qualifying for a third consecutive CONCACAF Champions League came to a crashing end for Caledonia AIA on Tuesday when the Trinidadian club failed to progress past the group stage of the Caribbean Club Championship.

Central F.C. spokesman, Kevin Jeffrey said “Of course, any game at this level will have its challenges, but the team is confident of winning through to the final round.”

T&T’s Caledonia AIA will go into its final Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Championship Group Two qualifier against Jamaica’s Waterhouse needing a 2-0 win to continue its quest for a third straight appearance in the Concacaf Champions League.

Leaders Central FC and defending champions DIRECTV W Connection have already caged the top two places in this season's Digicel Pro League championship hence qualifying for the 2016 Caribbean Club Championship, which serves as the qualifier tournament to the CONCACAF Champions League.
